Warrior values describe the mindset and commitments that guide a professional airman in every duty—courage, loyalty, duty, integrity, and a willingness to sacrifice for mission and teammates. Air Force core values establish the official standards that shape behavior across all ranks: Integrity First, Service Before Self, Excellence In All We Do. These warrior commitments aren’t separate from the core values; they’re expressed through them. In practice, the warrior ethos is lived out by upholding the same guiding principles—airmen demonstrate integrity, put the mission and teammates before self, and strive for excellence in every task. So, the warrior values are also the Air Force core values.
